This is why we get excited anytime we learn anything about the next model coming out, and right now, that’s the 2019 RAM 1500.
The 2019 RAM 1500 doesn’t debut officially until January 2018, during the Detroit Auto Show, but spy shots and information about the pickup truck are circulating around the internet nonetheless. Recently, we talked about the updated interior to the truck and now we’ve got a little more information concerning the exterior. Even though shots of the truck being tested show it covered in camouflage, we can still get a pretty decent idea of what the next generation RAM pickup truck will look like. One major change is the shape of the headlights. They seem to feature a new design with the main projector light sporting a chrome bezel with accents built in.
New Falken Wildpeak A/T tires surrounding the rims are also a new addition. While not as aggressive as the current 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel, this could mean that the regular model is getting a more rugged upgrade. As with previous spy photos and speculation, it appears that the bed on the truck may be slightly longer than the current generation’s, and that the popular RAM box storage feature will continue to be available for the next model.
While we won’t get a full look at all the changes and new features on the upcoming 2019 RAM 1500 until the Detroit Auto Show, from what we’ve seen, it looks like the next generation of trucks will be bigger and better than ever.
