The RAM 1500 Rebel is a unique model that includes a powerful red paint job, a unique front grille that says “RAM” in big block letters, and has a whole host of performance features you won’t find in the standard 2017 RAM 1500. And now, there’s a new all-black version of the RAM 1500 Rebel, and this one looks better than ever.
During the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, we’ll get a full look at a new 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel that’s known as the Rebel Black. So far, from what we can tell, it looks like this new RAM model is very similar to the previous special-edition RAM 1500 Rebel that debuted two years ago at the same auto show, only with a new paint job that can make a world of difference even to an off-road focused model.
Interestingly, contrary to the name, the vehicle will actually be available in several colors like white, silver, and red. What makes it different from the current 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel is the black trim on the front fascia, model-specific black alloy wheels, and 33-inch off-road tires.
Inside, the cabin also gets the black trim treatment around the instrument cluster, black upholstery which is available in Katzkin leather, and gray contrast stitching. It looks both as menacing and as luxurious as ever.
