The 2018 Dodge Durango is an impressive crossover SUV that breaks from the usual mold that other vehicles in the segment seem to employ as standard. Much like the venerable 2018 Dodge Charger, the Dodge Durango infuses some American muscle into the segment with bold looks, a good engine, and quite a bit of attitude.
The latest update from the automaker concerning the 2018 Dodge Durango is the new Dodge Durango GT Rallye Appearance Package. As the name suggests, the new appearance package is only available on the 2018 Dodge Durango GT trim.
While the appearance package doesn’t offer any performance upgrades, it features design changes that will make your vehicle look like it does. The Rallye Appearance Package features an aggressive front fascia which includes LED foglamps, sporty hood, split mesh grille, and several new color options.
“Many of our customers love the performance look of the [Dodge] Durango R/T and [Dodge] Durango SRT, but are happy with the award-winning Pentastar V-6 engine’s 295 horsepower and the excellent fuel efficiency it delivers,” said Steve Beahm, FCA’s North American head of passenger cars, according to Motor Trend. “This new [Dodge] Durango GT Rallye Appearance Package gives those three-row SUV buyers the best of both worlds.”
The 2018 Dodge Durango GT also features 20-inch wheels, a power liftgate, and several other convenience features like rear parking sensors and a 115-volt power outlet. It’s powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine which puts out 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
While the Rallye Appearance Package only affects the look of the vehicle, we love it here at Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM for its bold and brawny attitude. If you’ve had your eye on this Dodge SUV but like the muscle car looks of the Dodge Charger and Dodge Viper, you’re in luck.
