Recently, the automaker unveiled a special variant of the rugged off-road 2019 RAM 1500 Rebel. The new truck comes straight from customer demand, and by all accounts, it has everything the masses wanted, specifically an enormous 12-inch vertical touchscreen.
“Expanding the availability of the segment-leading Uconnect 4C 12-inch touchscreen is a direct response to market demand,” said Head of RAM Brand, FCA – North America, Jim Morrison. “Customers have been asking for additional high-end features on [the RAM] Rebel and now we’re delivering with benchmark technology and materials wrapped in off-road capability.”
A beautiful 12-inch infotainment screen isn’t the only addition to the RAM 1500 Rebel 12, however. For the first time, the RAM 1500 Rebel truck will sport leather seats, the front two which are heated. The vehicle also includes a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, 10-inch subwoofer, and active noise cancellation.
As refined and luxurious as the new 2019 RAM 1500 Rebel 12 is, it’s still very much an off-road work truck. With 33-inch tires, Bilstein shocks, and all the necessary equipment from tow hooks to skid plates, this pickup truck is an amazing off-road machine.
The RAM 1500 Rebel 12 version of the powerful truck comes available with all the same engine and cab options that you’ll find on the regular RAM 1500 Rebel.
