The iconic 2017 Dodge Challenger continues in the tried and true tradition of bringing some quality updates to the new model year that will keep this beautiful, and surprisingly practical, muscle car at the top of our wish lists.
The Dodge Challenger was brought back to the masses in 2008, which now seems like a long time ago, and for a car, it can be. When it was reintroduced, most of America was excited and delighted by the vehicle’s homage to the original while adding some quality modern updates and safety features.
Over the years, we’ve seen some great updates even if the vehicle hasn’t changed its looks all that much. The automakers know that messing with the design isn’t always an ingredient for success, especially with something so iconic as the Dodge Challenger. So what does the 2017 model year have in store for us?
It turns out there’s plenty to get revved up over with the new 2017 Dodge Challenger. New this year is the introduction of a new all-wheel drive model known as the Dodge Challenger GT. Part of what’s so special about this new edition is that it will be the first ever American muscle car to have all-wheel drive. While you may not think that all-wheel drive is something to go crazy about, since here in Baxley, GA we don’t always need it since we don’t really experience snow and icy roads, all-wheel drive has other benefits to power, output, and traction control.
Also new for the 2017 model year is the increased availability of the 2017 Dodge Challenger T/A model. The Dodge Challenger T/A models come in three different versions and boast clue homages to the older models from the 60’s with their retro stylings.
