The new 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel Pickup provides a bold take on the popular four-door, short-bed, half-ton platform. The RAM 1500 Rebel is a special trim that is really aimed at off-road performance.
However, it also features a distinctive look that separates it from the rest of the RAM 1500 lineup. Upon looking at the RAM 1500 Rebel, you’ll notice that it sports a distinctive grille which has the giant “RAM” insignia front and center, instead of the traditional cross grilles with the ram horn emblem.
To make the RAM 1500 Rebel as efficient as possible, it is only available in the crew cab model which also sports the 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires and front and rear Bilstein shock absorbers.
Powering the 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel is a 5.7-liter V8 engine which produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With the one inch lift on the shocks and its amazing off-road ability, the RAM 1500 Rebel offers a smooth and refined ride both on- and off-road.
