RAM trucks aren’t synonymous with subtlety. If they were, these American-made full-size pickup trucks probably wouldn’t have the kind of appeal they do. As one of the largest dealers of RAM trucks in the state of Georgia, here at Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we appreciate the boldness in these trucks.

A truck isn’t supposed to be quiet or subtle because it’s designed for work that requires it to be quite the opposite. From a 2017 RAM 1500 to a 2017 RAM 3500, these trucks are built to get the job done. However, serious work doesn’t always require us to be all that serious. And that’s partly why we love these trucks so much.

Debuting at the recent 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, we got to see two new special edition RAM 1500 pickup trucks. The two new trims are known as the 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand and the 2017 Ignition Orange RAM 1500 Sport.

Taking cues from the unique looking and popular design of the 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel, this new trim replaces red for a light beige exterior paint and all black interior. It’s an attractive take on the classic truck and comes with your choice of a 3.6-liter V6 engine or a 5.7-liter V8 engine.

As understated and minimal as the RAM 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand is, the 2017 RAM 1500 Ignition Orange Sport is loud and bright. The exterior is one-tone bright orange with black decals and lights. The interior boasts orange accents as well. Under the Sport performance hood is a HEMI V8 engine with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.

In addition to these interesting new trim levels, a new RAM truck commercial shows off its full personality, which combines hard work with a sense of humor. The ad starts like you would expect, with shots of hardworking, everyday Americans using their RAM trucks to get tough work done. However, it quickly takes a turn when Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” becomes the theme song and the hardworking Americans take a break to dance along to the song.

Whether you’re gearing up for a hard day’s work or turning up the radio to unwind at the end of a long day, a RAM truck is always ready to work for you.
