Here at Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we love our selection of RAM trucks. In fact, we love RAM trucks so much that we’re proud to have one of the largest selections of them in the entire state of Georgia. With options like the 2016 RAM 1500 and the 2016 RAM 2500, there’s no task that one of these trucks can’t tackle.
RAM trucks excel because they have so much going on. There are countless trim and configuration options, a plethora of technology and convenience packages, and an endless supply of power and comfort in each one. So with all of these great things going for a RAM truck, we wonder what’s on the horizon for the brand.
FCA US LLC seems to be putting a priority on both RAM trucks and Jeep automobiles due to their popularity. The current fourth-generation RAM truck lineup has existed since 2009. While a refresh back in 2013 gave these vehicles a tuneup and a facelift, the automaker knows that staying on the top of the pyramid is constant work. Which is why a pretty significant redesign is expected on the horizon.
Options like the popular 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel have done well to show that visual variety can be a good thing. Whether you like the black grille with “RAM” lettering or the cross chrome grille, signature components will remain intact. According to Automative News, the exterior redesign will be evolutionary by giving the front-end stylings a nice update without completely changing the looks we’ve come to know and love. As far as details go, it seems that the headlights could shrink to be better integrated with the chrome grille. The interiors are expected to be cleaned up and feature a flattened center console design.
Production of the next generation is expected to start sometime in 2018, so there’s still time to get a brand new RAM model if you’re in the market for one. And we still love the current design and exceptionally refined interiors of these trucks. To see why a RAM truck is such a great choice, head on down to Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM today.
