Nothing gets us quite as excited here at Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM as news regarding a new RAM pickup truck. As the largest dealer of RAM trucks in Georgia, we can’t get enough of the exceptional vehicles. We’re excited to share that a midsize RAM truck is in the works.

FCA US LLC hasn’t offered a midsize pickup truck since 2011. While we love the 2019 RAM 1500 and other Heavy Duty RAM models, we can’t wait to enjoy the upcoming midsize RAM truck.

The yet-to-be-named midsize RAM truck is set to get built alongside the forthcoming Jeep Wrangler Pickup truck, but it’s still unclear how much the two will have in common. Earlier this year, FCA US LLC CEO Mike Manley said that a presentation of the truck is in the works. He did note that despite its smaller size, the new RAM truck is a body-on-frame truck and not based on a unibody design.

As the midsize truck market begins to expand and grow in both popularity and options, we’re interested to see how this new RAM model stacks up against the competition. However, if the prestigious family of existing RAM trucks is any indication, there’s no cause for worry.

The newest addition to the RAM truck family is likely slated for a 2020 release date and billed as a 2021 model, which means it could arrive at our Baxley, GA dealership later in the year. There’s also speculation that it could include the 48-volt E-Torque mild hybrid system found in the 2019 RAM 1500 and Jeep Wrangler.

As always, we’ll keep our Baxley, GA drivers updated as we learn more. Be sure to visit us in the meantime to shop the latest models for sale and check out our car service specials to save on your next service appointment.
