We may be a ways away from Detroit and the Detroit Auto Show here in Baxley, GA but as Georgia’s largest dealer of new 2017 RAM trucks, we thought it was our duty to bring you news from the 2017 Detroit Auto Show concerning what’s new with our favorite brand of pickup trucks.
Recently, we talked about the new 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel Black edition pickup truck and now it’s finally been unveiled in its full glory at the auto show. The truck features the bold “RAM” front fascia that we’ve seen with the 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel, which looks amazing against the all black body of the truck. Other features that make this off-road focused model unique include 33-inch all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, skid plates and tow hooks, and the refined air suspension system, all of which are standard.
As far as performance is concerned, there’s no worry that this truck will be able to handle anything you throw at it. Engine options include the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that puts out 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that puts out 495 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. And if you were wondering about the configuration options, the 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel Black will be available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations.
While here at Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM we think this is plenty of truck, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention a new concept for the RAM 1500 Rebel truck family known as the RAM Rebel TRX concept. This truck not only stands out for its striking look but also because it’s equipped with a supercharged HEMI Hellcat engine. Whether we ever see this model come to production or not, it shows that there’s no barrier for our favorite RAM trucks.
