Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the new 2017 RAM Power Wagon. This full-size and well-outfitted machine is based on the 2016 RAM 2500 Crew Cab and is aimed at being a true off-road beast.
The new 2017 RAM Power Wagon will feature a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that puts out 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. This more than capable truck also features 14.3 inches of ground clearance and is outfitted with Bilstein shocks and a skid-plate belly.
The 2017 RAM Power Wagon is a truck that means business, and one that can carry out that business with both efficiency and style. Like all RAM trucks, it’s rugged on the outside while being refined and comfortable on the inside. Two interior treatments are available here. The standard option includes a unique technical grain in Diesel Gray and Black fabric insert seats. If you opt for the upgraded option, you’ll enjoy leather seats. In both, the instrument panel is black while door armrests have a Light Slate Gray sticking.
The exterior is similar to that of the popular 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel. It sports the same big black front grille and bumper which says “RAM” instead of sporting the RAM head logo. The hood has a gloss-black graphic, and in homage to the Power Wagons from past years, an optional vertical stripe is available down the side of the cab.
Overall, the new 2017 RAM Power Wagon is looking to be a nice update to the highly capable truck we’ve come to know and love.
