Earlier this year, the people at FCA US LLC, those behind the vehicles we have for sale here at Woody Folsom Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, did something unexpected. They made the minivan cool, possibly for the first time with the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.
Here in Baxley, GA, the minivan may not be your first choice for a larger vehicle that can haul cargo and your family. As we have one of the largest selections of 2017 RAM trucks for sale in Georgia it’s no secret that we love a tough yet refined vehicle for our everyday needs. But that’s exactly why we can’t help but be impressed with the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.
The minivan has long taken a back seat to SUVs like the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it’s not hard to see why. The Jeep Grand Cherokee can comfortably seat a family, handle pretty much any terrain, and comes with a plethora of features to keep you safe and entertained. However, it doesn’t have two 10-inch touchscreens, automatic Stow ‘N Go seating, and a built-in vacuum cleaner like the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.
Now, we’re excited to see even more when it comes to the minivan that brings a fresh style to the segment. Soon you’ll have the option of a plug-in hybrid 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. This is big news as it will be the first-ever minivan to have a plug-in hybrid option. More than that, going the hybrid route apparently won’t affect the performance of the vehicle.
The vehicle will have the familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, only now it’s mated to an electric battery which only takes about two hours to charge. And for the most part, it looks and feels the same as the gas-only version.
With vehicle technology expanding at a rapid rate, it’s not always easy for automakers to include new features and models to existing vehicles and that’s why we’re excited about the new Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. It’s a testament to expert engineering and the drive to help us create a better environment in every aspect.
